Data Mining and Analysis. TMCI's Big Data Team performs complex statistical investigations, quantitative research and predictive analytics to synthesize actionable information. We are experts at identifying, amalgamating, and manipulating medical, insurance, logistics, and financial data. We applied our healthcare analytics capabilities to support a range of efforts from medical facility construction planning to population health management.
Data Integrity. Bad data kills big data; therefore, we independently validate data quality, accuracy and integrity and work to identify partial, erroneous, or missing data sets. Through these important data grooming steps, we are able to ensure the quality of the data and reduce the likelihood of our clients gathering and acting on inaccurate data.
Certified Staff. TMCI employs certified Software Engineers, Six Sigma Black Belts and SAS trained staff. Additionally, our analysts are PMI and/or ITIL certified.
Find Bad Data before It Kills Big Data. Our diligent Data Quality Management (DQM) efforts and data integrity initiatives proactively identify data quality and accuracy problems before they impact your organization. We help increase the value of the information that is produced by your data mining and analytics efforts, protecting against the risk of inaccurate conclusions and erroneous decisions.
Data Clean-Up. Our analysts have significant experience in quickly correcting data quality and accuracy anomalies in a cost effective manner on large data warehouses. To maximize the value that we provide, we apply a wide range of industry standard and custom tools to safely automate our data clean-up efforts. TMCI tracks and provides robust metrics on our DQM efforts.
Staff. Our experts in computer science, statistics, engineering, population health management, and finance are all US citizens and have security clearances.
Data Warehouse Development. Our Software Engineers develop and maintain the processors, tools, and code used to transfer, validate, and store large data sets gathered from geographically disparate platforms running multiple operating systems. We create custom tools to enhance analysis and automate the aggregation, manipulation, verification, and reporting of data.
Data Processing. Our Data Analysts ingest data into warehouses and marts and ensure a high standard of data quality, integrity, and accuracy is maintained. Our analysts also check for data loss due to partial or broken feeds and validate that the data is properly amalgamated, normalized, and stored.
Security. Our Management Team collaborates with stakeholders to determine their data and security requirements. We diligently work to ensure that we take the regulatory, technical, and managerial steps needed to protect patient identity and data. Our analysts are fully trained on all relevant PHI, PII, and III rules and regulations.
Baseline Audit and Planning. TMCI has more than a decade of experience in the assessment of large EHR and HIE. Our MDM experts evaluate and tune matching rules and thresholds to maximize your existing MPI/MDM software's effectiveness.
Correction and Resolution. TMCI implements a prioritized resolution plan to fix data accuracy issues before they impact patient care. Our analysts follow established processes to fix data problems that require manual intervention or do not meet the MPI/MDM system's thresholds.
Maintenance and Operational Support. TMCI provides ongoing support to address new data quality problems as they emerge. Our DQM Service Desk tracks and resolves data accuracy and quality problems that we proactively identify as they are reported by patients or providers. We work to maximize the MPI/MDM software's effectiveness so that we can concentrate on the issues that it cannot.
Help Desk Design & Management. Our ITIL Certified Management Team maximizes the effectiveness of our clients' Service Desk budgets by meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLA) and prioritizing incidents so the most critical tickets are addressed first. We establish escalation procedures that ensure incidents are resolved at the lowest level possible.
Resource Optimization. Our established training program and human capital management enables us to build a scalable Service Desk capability that is right-sized for each client. By tracking and reporting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics at the Service Desk and individual analyst level, we are able to allocate staff so that clients have complete coverage.
Staff. TMCI does not use outsourced or offshore analysts. Our Help Desk Analysts are all US citizens with security clearances and have been trained in the rules and regulations related to securing PHI, PII, and III.
Software Testing. TMCI Analysts have led System Integration, Performance, Functional, Load & Scalability, and Data Exchange/Migration Test and Evaluation efforts for the DHA. Moreover, our analysts have served as or supported the independent government team for Pre-Deployment IV&V, System Interface/Interoperability Assessments, Operational Test & Evaluation, and Government Acceptance Testing.
Military Health Focus. TMCI’s enduring commitment to the DHA enables us to fully understand the needs and concerns of the DHA’s end user, provider, and patient communities. We know and can navigate the unique DOD and DHA test requirements, policies, regulations and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle.
Expert DHA Test Analysts. TMCI analysts have tested every DHA clinical, ancillary, and business support system that interfaces with ALHTA and CHCS. In collaboration with the DHA’s predecessor organization, TMCI developed and implemented the test methodology that the DHA uses today.
HIPAA and Privacy Act Compliance. PHI-NIX™ provides a fully compliant way to safely study, use, and share large data sets that contain both Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). PHI-NIX™ products and services improve Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Privacy Act compliance by removing, de-identifying, masking, randomizing or scrambling selected fields.
Protect Data Usability. The PHI-NIX™ toolset maintains linkages between and among records and data sets even after the underlying records have been de-identified. PHI-NIX™ de-identified data sets are used to support robust and realistic testing of large, multi-organization health, finance, and medical information systems. PHI-NIX™ de-identified data sets are also used for population health research, data mining and analytics, and to assess the quality of care.
Customized to Your Data. The PHI-NIX™ product and service line provides the high level of customization required to safely manage de-identification of evolving data sets. It supports multiple methods to remove, de-identify, mask, randomize or scramble data. PHI-NIX™ also provides the option to create encrypted keys that allow you to select which, if any, fields can be rolled back or re-identified.
